ALLY...

With sinusoids of life, it’s high and low
Grains of sand in the hour glass flow;
From the break of dawn till dusk at bay
Vibgyores of life- some shades of grey.

Canvas of life ‘etched dreams… desires-
Varied beliefs many faiths and friars!
A quiver of emotion- the fuel of life
Not to yield but efforts to strive!

Clad in black, the maidchen still,
Soothes the soul ‘n sores she heal
A zephyr lilt in the chill of night,
Some hooting owl out of sight

In sound of silence, the starry sky
Body and soul- in conversation lie
The balance sheet of praise and blame-
Moments of pride and bouts of shame~

Strings f emotions is all you got
Of all the hours and battles you fought
But wiser you get as sleep steals by-
In the cycle of life your constant ally!!

black and white...

On the whites of life
Etched words in black!
Of life and death-
Of dreams, desires
Emotions penned, lo! Tides of time washeth away…
As memories remain.

A black of you behind you rides
White flashes your path ahead;
The color of life you wonder might
In peace, at war- of lefts and rights,
But grey inside is what you feel~
Past, present future encased in a reel!

Black of night dissolves the day
When tired eyes close tight shut-
Aspirations filled- unfilled remain
… Still again from east He peeps
Sun god with his radiant red!
And puffs of white on the sky blue shade-

Skins of divide, wars of rage-
Look down upon black.
Rules of white;
Violence won non-violent way…
Universal truth the red inside-
Whites blacks only scars to hide

Tales of pride and prejudice lost!
Men of honor some lying in dust
Of paints on canvas- fabric of life,
Only black and white now races remain…

I try a lot, though, to color my joy ‘n pain
But alas! In time… only blacks and whites do shades remainJ
